| Welcome to In Foal, Inc. Home page! Originally founded as Winners Circle Equine Clinic over 20 years ago by Rick Beck, DVM, In Foal, Inc. has evolved into its own enterprise dedicated to equine reproduction. First as an ambulatory veterinarian breeding mares out of his truck, Dr. Beck has developed the experience and technology to offer not only embryo transfer, but also embryo freezing, oocyte transfer and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection). We are located in Southern California, close to Ontario airport for shipping and receiving same day semen or embryos. Our weather allows us nearly year around breeding and great working conditions. In the following pages you can watch a video on the embryo collection,transfer process, oocyte collection as well as intra cytoplasmic sperm injection. Browse around and learn about the different options you have to get your problem mare to produce a foal, or your not-so fertile stallion to reproduce. We have lots of exciting things going on! We have just confirmed pregnancy from an immature oocyte, retrieved from a small follicle on the ovary of an anestrus mare. They are similar to the oocytes recovered from the ovaries of deceased mares. Remember - Dead mares can have foals if you harvest their ovaries immediately! |
